Whitney, I will always love you. Even when you are whack.
The amazingly talented singer Whitney Houston has sold more records than everyone but Elvis Presley and The Beatles, and possibly Michael Jackson. And Mariah Carey, back before she got sloppy. Mariah, I mean.
Nonetheless, Whitney Houston has had a rough 21st century. Her marriage to bad boy Bobby Brown coincided with a sharp decline in Whitney's record sales and her wholesome public image.
That's not lemonade.
Perhaps the low point came during a 2002 interview with Diane Sawyer on 60 Minutes in which Whitney attempted to change her public image as a crack smoking hoochie mama. As you'll see, Whitney crashed and burned and, uh, went up in smoke.

Somehow The National Enquirer was not convinced. However one of Whitney's relatives was convinced. To sell these photos of Whitney's bathroom after a crack binge.
The National Enquirer called this "a shocking scene of sleazy mayhem."
Later Whitney Houston gained even more notoriety for this declaration she made on her reality show Being Bobby Brown.
Kiss my ass!
Lately, meaning the past few months, Whitney Houston seems to be back on the road to recovery. After divorcing Bobby, Whitney began dating Ray J, the brother of famous singer, Brandy.
Young Ray J stepped out of his older sister's shadow by doing it with professional reality TV "star" Kim Kardashian on videotape and later pretending that their sex tape was stolen, profiting from the stolen sex tape, all the while actively promoting the stolen sex tape on HIS reality show I Love Ray J.
Classy! At least he hasn't let their sex tape get stolen. Yet.
