Songwriter, producer, musically relevant: Kara DioGuardi appears to be all three. Unlike, say, oh, I don't know...Paula "Her Spirit Shines Through" Abdul.

But will Kara balance out the raging testosterone emitted by manly men Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson, or even the manliest man himself, Ryan Seacrest?

Only time will tell, but let's hope, if nothing else, American Idol's fourth judge will shut up, or at least drastically reduce, Paula's female pheromones -- sadly also known as her "commentary" time.
