Legendary Muppet and diva extraordinaire Miss Piggy during happier times.

Muppet songstress Miss Piggy today denounced both candidates for president, Democrat Barack Obama and Republican John McCain, for comparing their opponents' policy proposals to "putting lipstick on a pig."

At a hastily organized press conference in New York City, Miss Piggy declared, "These candidates are once again resorting to personal attacks. ON ME! No one looks better than me with lipstick, human or pig!"

Sadly, Miss Piggy refused to answer this reporter's questions about her alleged affair with the Geico Gekko, instead resorting to cheap personal attacks herself. ON ME. Declared the Pig, "Who the hell are you, Mike Doe? I AM MISS PIGGY. I was pulling in double-digit ratings on network television when you were still running some obscure comedy blog!"

Ouch.
