Mike Doe Learns Improv Comedy...Without Even Getting Up!
October 23, 2007 at 01:42PM Even the greatest of comedians spent years honing their craft, toiling away in bitter obscurity and relentless poverty...with nothing but Ramen noodles, fiftysomething barflies, and the occasional bottle of Boone's Farm as their only sustenance...
...Uh, I lost my train of thought...
Oh yes, the point is that Mike Doe needs training just like his, er, colleagues Dave Chappelle, Lisa Lampanelli and that fat guy Ralphie who came in second that one season of Last Comic Standing.
Rather than fork out hard-earned (and non-existent) dollars for this essential comedy training, Mike Doe is turning to, of course, the powers of the Internet. (I'd write "Interwebs" but that is officially "hack"...see, I'm learning!)
Without further unecessary elaboration...
MIKE DOE GRADUATE SCHOOL FOR CONTINUING HIGHER EDUCATION PRESENTS:
Expert Village: Improv Comedy Lessons
Instructor: Paul Zuckerman
Comedy Troupe: Chicago City Limits
Lessons: 20 short videos covering the ins and outs of improv comedy
Check 'em out and let me know what you think. I'll be doing the same and, hopefully, Mike Doe will soon be showcasing these valuable comedic lessons and insights in his standup comedy routine at your friendly neighborhood comedy club or strip mall talent show.

Now isn't that something! And I thought it was cool when the Internet taught me to do origami with my toes.
